In this meditation, you will visualize a circle of protection around your body, creating a space where you can rest and rejuvenate in safety and calm. Let go of any worry, fear, or anxiety as you gently guide your body into sleep, knowing it's safe to do so.

Welcome to this guided energy work meditation.

Tonight we're going to work on creating a sacred circle of protection so that you can feel safe,

Release what is not needed,

And nourish your spirit so you can rest and replenish yourself for whatever you're facing in your life right now.

Go ahead and get settled if you haven't already.

Fidget around,

Move as you need to,

And find the most comfortable position you can for your meditation and your rest.

Take a few deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine sighing out whatever has been going on for you today.

Take a moment to make a commitment to your sleep.

The time for thinking,

Planning,

Analyzing,

And organizing is over for today.

You can come back to it all tomorrow.

This is the time you have available for rest and recovery,

For letting go of the day and replenishing your energy.

Whatever has happened today is over.

Whatever will happen tomorrow will happen later.

Right now is the space between the days.

Let's rest here.

Now imagine that you are in a circle of stones.

Four large pillars stand in the four directions,

To the north,

The south,

To the east,

And to the west.

They are heavy and strong,

Rooted deep into the earth.

They are capable of filtering out any energy that is not invited here into our circle,

By deflecting it or absorbing it to transform it into something else.

Between the pillars are smaller rocks,

Boulders and pebbles,

Supporting the protective work of this circle.

No energy is welcome here,

Except what is wanted.

Only the energies of safety,

Calm,

Love,

Care,

And connection can enter this circle.

Perhaps there are other energies you would like to invite here as well.

Go ahead and name the energies that are welcome for you in this space.

Allow and trust that the stones will deflect or absorb anything else.

Your circle of stones is in a special place.

It's a place where you feel safe,

Supported,

And connected.

Notice the earth beneath you.

Is it soft and loamy,

The smell of the earth comforting?

Are you in a clearing of ancient trees,

Thick,

Old growth,

With towering leaves to help protect you?

Are slow tree heartbeats calming your own?

Or is it the soft sand of a most perfect beach,

The water lapping gently at the shore,

The scent of salt in the air?

Where do you feel safest,

Most comfortable in your skin?

Allow yourself to be there as fully as you can.

What is the temperature like?

The sky?

The season?

How do you feel here in this safe place?

Call on your talismans of safety.

What objects make you feel safe?

What activities help you feel comforted and relaxed?

What people or pets have your back?

What blankets or sweaters are you drawing around your body?

Perhaps there are some ancestors that you would like to invite into this circle to help protect you.

These would be the well ancestors,

The ones who are healthy and capable of helping you heal.

The ones that want the best for you,

Who are here to help protect you.

These are the ones from so long ago you do not know their names.

Perhaps there are others here as well.

Angels?

Spirit guides?

Remembered loved ones?

Who or what are your talismans of safety?

Now take a moment again to feel the circle of stones pulling out anything that is not helpful for you here.

Allow any unwanted energies to be drawn from your body into the earth below you and wide to the edges of the circle of stones.

You are protected here.

This is your space.

You are in charge of which energies come and which energies go.

Allow your body to sink a little deeper into the earth below you.

Trust that the earth has you.

It will support whatever you are releasing.

You can soften your shoulders.

Your jaw.

Open your tongue in your mouth.

The space at the back of your neck.

The space around your eyes.

Relax your cheeks.

Your forearms.

Relax your hands.

Relax the space between your shoulder blades.

Your lower back.

Your legs,

Heavy and soft.

Your knees.

Each one of your toes.

Open your belly.

Feel the belly rising and falling.

A soft balloon filling up with your breath and then gently releasing.

Notice your exhales.

Each one is an opportunity to let go.

Imagine that your exhale is simply a release.

And not trying.

Allow each exhale to complete itself.

If you are rushing into the next inhale,

Slow down.

Simply allow the exhale to take as long as it would like to take.

You are safe enough to relax your body.

You are safe enough to breathe.

Allow yourself to rest in this safe space energetically.

You have everything you need here.

You have all the time in the world.

You may rest.

It is okay to rest.

Feel the safety and protection surrounding you.

Notice how your body receives the feeling of safety and protection.

Notice your heartbeat,

Maybe slowing.

Your nervous system regulating.

So much healing becomes possible when we feel safe.

In this place of safety,

Invite an experience of healing.

Invite softness and ease into your body.

Invite the energy of rest and replenishment.

Notice any parts of you that are feeling tender or sore or simply needing some extra care to be held gently in this circle of stones.

What would you like to draw in?

What do you wish for?

What do you hope for?

From this place of safety,

Allow yourself to wish and dream.

Imagine yourself filled with health and wellness.

Imagine yourself filled with the light of safety,

Love,

Care,

And connection.

Imagine feeling so comfortable being exactly who you are,

There is nothing more that you need.

Feel the soft warmth of that light of hope,

Joy,

And healing surrounding your body.

Feel the sweetness of being enveloped in this perfect light.

Allow yourself to receive and absorb the light of wellness into yourself,

Protected,

Safe,

Exactly where you need to be.

Sweet dreams.

Sleep well.

My 9 year old daughter has a fear of having nightmares. We have a whole nightly routine of calling her guides, guardians, etc. This meditation was perfect! I saved it to add to the routine! Thank you for creating this bedtime experience for us! Namaste
